This weekend I was given two writing homework assignments. Because of them I have learned something about me that I always knew but never really thought about. I take writing extremely seriously. I don't just settle for the first thing that pops into my head. I wait until I can outline the basic plan in my mind and see if it actually leads somewhere. The place where I give myself more freedom is in my blogs, but with school assignments...I seek inspiration. Inspiration comes in many forms and it's different for everyone. I know I'll end up writing these two assignments after midnight on the day they are due...because that's just how I roll...
Or more that's just how my incredibly messy mind works...
Lately life has really not been on my side. It can't decide what side to choose so it just spits out random happenings...and I understand that's how it's supposed to be...I understand...but I don't want to...
Friday, at school during lunch, I found myself having a very Hermione-ish moment in the girls bathroom just crying. I was rather disappointed that a troll didn't show up with two wizards trying to save my life... Although a friend did show up...and I'm very grateful that she did... See? That's inspiring, but too personal...
Oh inspiration...tsk tsk...you've failed...
Perhaps it's in the little things in life that we just let escape, unnoticed...
In the songs that dare to sing the feelings we've been trying to hide...
In the laughter that seems to find us in the most inappropriate times...
Or in the people around us that make you smile before you even know it...
It's out there somewhere, but I'm tired of looking...a few more hours and it'll come looking for me.
It's times like these where I want to throw zucchini's at the wall while in a rage,

Inspiration, for me at least, comes from the people around me and the hilarity of the cosmic joke we call life. And snow. Snow is always inspiring.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but why you were crying on Friday? Anything some nerdfighter advice can help with?
I agree...snow can be inspiring...
And not really, it's over now (kinda) but thanks for asking... It's all good!
