...lies, excessive sugar, and things that are orange ...

October is finally coming to an end! I've been looking forward to this since October 1st! This is grand news indeed!

I don't like October. Can you tell? Yes? Good.
To me, the month of October seems like this obstacle that I have to overcome every year. It's full of lies and excessive sugar and things that are orange.

Okay my reasons aren't good enough to...erm...society? To me, however, they make perfect sense.

Anyway...

During this month explosions of Christmas merchandise are seen everywhere. The school choir begins preparing Christmas music. It just seems like this really big lie. I love Christmas, but October makes the wait just drag on...and on...and on...

Also the holiday October is known for, "Halloween," is just something that shouldn't exist. Enough said.

But November? It's pretty cool...and very interesting
-It's National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)
-The fourth Thursday of November is Thanksgiving
-No shave November (See? Weird but interesting...)
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Premiere! (Eeeeep!)
-And the Christmas-ish songs and decorations and stuff become way more legit

Hello happiness! I missed you...

"...something epic will happen..."

I'm going to take the ACT tomorrow...again.

Again?

Yes. Again. Keep up will you?

Anyways I'm only going for blogging material. I have a feeling something epic will happen. Like maybe I'll fill in a circle so perfectly and so nicely that my fingers fall off...or something like that. Or I'll just end up failing the entire test...again.

If only I had a sonic screwdriver...

The ACT would be scared of me.

What a foolish thought! I should probably get some sleep. And since it takes me around five and a half hours to fall asleep I think I better get to working on that.

So g'night...

[UPDATE 10/23/10: Well IF anything epic happened I will be notified in two weeks of any epicness when I receive the score report along with a howler yelling at me in Mrs. Weasley's voice for getting a -36.5 on the ACT. And I will cry and it will be epic. So stay tuned!]

Lacking cleverish thoughts...

Twitter just told me to be more clever.

And well... I'm offended.

You wanna know why I'm offended? You wanna know why? DO YOU?!

No?
Well I'll tell you anyway.

Because it's totally and completely...right.

Curse you 140 characters! Curse you...

"You would think..." "What? You can think?!" "The horror..."

Me, my misfortunes, and I...

You would think that school bus drivers have some kind of caution as they're leaving a school parking lot. You would certainly think that they stop and look both ways before they enter into a street somewhat full of moving cars.

You would think...

Wouldn't you?

Well I did. Until today.

Today I was driving on that road. The road somewhat full of moving cars. The road full of moving cars, driven by parents who just picked their children up from school. So it's not like I was on a forbidden road that only buses can drive on.

Then again I am always in the that wrong place at the wrong time.

It's like my thing now. Because, as I said, I was driving on that road today. Yes, at the speed limit (duh of course). There I was innocently driving when all of the sudden a bus turns rather quickly right in front of me. I quickly hit the brakes, and saved my sister, myself, my car, AND I also saved the school bus driver from getting a piece of my mind! The driver didn't even look my way and the only other person who saw what happened was the town sheriff and he did absolutely nothing.

This Monday just got a whole lot interesting...

I'm still rather shocked. It's just one of those things ya know?

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time...yet again...

Am I wearing some kind of sign on my head that says, "Hit me! C'mon! It's not like this girl feels anything!"?

Well...AM I?

I got hit in the head by a volleyball today. Of all the people watching a volleyball game in a gym I was the one who got hit in the head. Me. Again.

And yes, it hurt. I know what you might think. "Oh it's just a volleyball." Well I don't think so pal, it's not just a volleyball. It's a volleyball being hit into the air with a lot of force fueled by pent up aggression.

And it's not really this huge thing like OMYGOSH! But it has a deeper meaning to me. It shouldn't, but it does. Like seriously, does life really dislike me that much?

Hugs greatly appreciated,

Your functioning optic nerve offends my soul...

Cloudy days really aren't that great for people at my school apparently...

I guess cloudy days like today are the kinds of days where you have to be really careful with your words, and the way you look at someone.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Gosh! SORRY!"

The "conversation" above actually took place today. It was sad.

Well...I guess we're in for a hell of a winter eh
Excellent.

Ichicascadiggaphobia? Yes, I think so...

Reason #1,152 why I SHOULDN'T be in weights class...

This past Monday I got up and got ready for school with the usual feeling of dread because of weights class (which is my first class of the day)

But I usually try to be optimistic, so I decided things would get better after that class was over.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see if things would get better...

Because you know those people that always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time...yeah... Well it's kinda the story of my life...

I happened to be standing behind one of the guys in my weights class when all of the sudden he jumps up and as he comes down his elbow makes it's way towards my face.

So I got elbowed in the head on Monday morning. The area above my right eyebrow swelled up and I spent the next class with an ice pack on my forehead and the rest of the day with a raging headache. This is why I should definitely listen to that little voice that tells me to skip that class.
It sucked.
End of story.

p.s. No, you may not laugh. Okay maybe just a giggle.

A Moo Perspective on da internetz...and stuff...

[This is the assignment I was procrastinating on a while back. So yeah. Enjoy?]

Youtube, Blogger, Twitter, and Skype. Goodness! Where can't you find someone these days?
The internet is it's own kind of amazing nowadays when used properly. It offers so many different creative outlets and ways of communication.
Youtube is a great example. Accidentally recorded something random and funny? Just upload it to Youtube and you can become an internet sensation in less than 24 hours! And you might ask "Why?" And I'll say "Because Charlie bit my finger, and it really hurt!" That's why.
Do you want to rant about things, or keep a journal about what you're up to so family can keep up? Why not start a blog?
Did you just invite a friend over to eat a peanut butter sandwich, choke while laughing at a funny joke, and recover within seconds only to fall off your chair? Well then, why not tell the world on Twitter? It's brilliant!
Have long-distance relatives that you never have time to see? Perhaps even in another country or planet? It's called Skype and you can video chat and instant message.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have Blogger comments to reply to, and one of my friends on Youtube just uploaded a video about cheese which I must go watch immediately.

Cheers!
